:Exchange Store

I think there is finally a solution for the store.exe using up so much memory in Exchange 2003 Server. I just found this SP1 hotfix that addresses specifics for SBS2003.

:It was an ID ten T error

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Harold the computer guy,
to come over. Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
He gave me a bill for a minimum service call.
As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?"
He replied, "It was an ID ten T error."
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, "An, ID ten T
error? What's that ... in case I need to fix it again?"
The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."
So I wrote out ........ I D 1 0 T
I used to like Harold.

:When Lists Where Famous

Going through some _really_ old 3.5 floppies and I found this. I guess back when lists were circulating the Internet, I came up with a list of my own. I was working part-time in a country-club kitchen at the time. We used the "prep" tables to prepare the food for the golf outing dinners.

1. You could get splinters in your ass!
2. You wouldn't sit on a hot burner, would you?
3. You see how the table is bowed in the middle, that's what
happens when it is used incorrectly.
4. If it was a sofa there would be some pillows, and a tv.
5. No one wants to eat something that directly or indirectly
touched you ass!
6. You could ruin the magnetic charge in the table by sitting
on it. (if table does not immediatly turn and face north
when thrown in a pool of used fryer grease then it's no
good, call your local prep table dealer for more info.)
7. You don't see me dicing cucumbers on your bed!
8. You could accidentally chop your leg off.
9. If you have time to lean you have time to clean!
10. Surgeon General's Warning: Quitting sitting on prep table's
now greatly reduces seriose risks to your health.

I work at a country club and any additions/other relative lists
will be greatly appreciated. you can post them here or email me.

:The Internet Button

This is perhaps the biggest breakthrough in Internet technology. The Really Big Button is a perfect example of how creative you can be with your website. And just because the feature doesn't work, doesn't mean your visitors won't like it.

:Email the Truth

Before forwarding the latest email warning or company handout, take a look at the Urban legends page to see if it has been debunked. Then you can send everyone the link to the page that explains why it is untrue. Not to mention it makes you sound really smart.

:Instant Search and More

I found this tool while re-downloading an old favorite, the google toolbar. The new one, called the Google Deskbar, sits in your task bar at the bottom of your screen. It makes it handy for doing quick searches. It even offers searching without using your browser. I have been using it for about a week and I love it. It's my new favorite. Download you copy today for free.

:FREE Anti Virus protection

The free edition of this anti virus program has been available for years. It used to be available for non-profit organizations as well. I think they just changed that.
It is a really nice program and works well. Integrating nicely into Outlook and Outlook Express.
Now there really is no excuse not to have antivirus protection on your home computer.

:Remote Control your computer

Another great tool that is put into use very regularly. VNC allows you to remote control a computer that is connected to the Internet. Password protected access ensures security. I still recommend a firewall for any connection to the Internet. Properly configured it can relatively hide the VNC server. Download here.

:Block the Internet Spy

Spyware is evil. Spyware is the dirt of the Internet. Clean your computer with this free program and see your performance boost online.
I have used this program for quite awhile. It is one of the original spyware removal tools. I also think it is the best.
You should run it on a weekly basis. Make sure you have the most up to date copy.
